2024 marks the 43rd anniversary of this rite of fall in one of Kentucky’s most beautiful and historic towns, Bardstown, KY.

The Bardstown Arts & Craft Festival is a juried fair with more than 250 artists’ booths. The two-day event is free and open to the public. The Fair is held in Bardstown’s historic district filled with tree-lined streets and beautiful lawns. The following areas will encompass this year’s fair – West Flaget Avenue, North Fourth Street, North Fifth Street, Xavier Drive, Spalding Hall Lawn, City Hall Lawn, City Hall Parking Lot and Parks & Rec Parking Lot. With over 30,000 people in attendance last year, the Bardstown Arts & Craft Festival is one of the area’s favorite events year-after-year.

In addition to arts and crafts, patrons of the fair can enjoy food, drink and entertainment. Other attractions include a children’s area, demonstrations by local artists, and visitor information about our amazing small town.

The annual Bardstown Arts & Craft Festival is a major fundraiser for the Bardstown Main Street Program. All proceeds are returned to our downtown community through family-friendly events, beautification projects, historic preservation efforts, and supporting small business. The Bardstown Main Street Program works hard as an organization to continue to make downtown Bardstown a historically modern place to live, work and play.

All entries must be properly completed online – Applications will be available online March 1

Past Vendors:

Please note, we will do our best to accommodate your needs. However, the Bardstown Arts & Craft Festival does not guarantee previous booth space to any vendor/exhibitor. Occasional changes have to be made due to many circumstances, but we promise we have your best interests at heart.

What to Expect:

Applicants will be juried monthly, starting in April 2024. Incomplete applications will NOT be juried, that includes left out photos, booth information, ext. After jury selection, you will be notified via email regarding the status of your application. We try very hard to make selections in a timely manner so please be patient with us. Upon receiving an accepted status, the email will contain a link for payment due with specific due dates, please follow the payment deadlines. If payments are not made by JULY 31ST, your application will be taken off of our approved list and another application will be accepted in your place. If you do not get accepted, you will receive a denial email notification. Please don’t be discouraged, and please apply again the next year! We have specific criteria including ensuring a diverse variety of items, basically having too many of one type of item may be the reason for denial. Please follow all cancellation policies listed. We receive a large number of applications so if you need to cancel your approved vendor space you must let us know within the allotted time frame to receive a full or partial refund. If we are not notified within the allotted timeframe, you will not receive a refund and will forfeit your booth space. We hope that you all understand this going forward as we had several cancelations at the last minute causing us to have blank booth spaces which we want to avoid. Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to a wonderful season!
