I was born and raised in Louisville Kentucky. After graduating from the University of Kentucky I left our great state. Visiting family living in Bardstown was always delightful. I loved the small-town charm and dreamed of a life closer to my family where I could live and do business in the Historic District of Bardstown. So, when an opportunity to buy a Kentucky Millicare Franchise surfaced we sold our beautiful home on the Riviera Village hill top that had an extraordinary view of Hermosa Beach, past LA to the Hollywood sign on a clear day and moved back to Bardstown KY. The Chamber of Commerce in Bardstown both welcomed and encouraged me to get involved as a Bardstown Ambassador where I served for two years. Then for one glorious summer I was chosen to ride the Bardstown Main Street golf cart through our charming city and care for our flowers. That position literally blossomed into me volunteering as the Chairperson for the Bardstown Main Street Design Committee. My Bardstown business is Peace of Work Yoga, practicing yoga in Bardstown since 2010, practicing in the historic Spalding Hall Chapel. I served three years on the Board of Directors for Saint Joseph School, substituted for Nelson County Schools, Bardstown Schools and still occasionally substitutes teach for the Nelson County Vocational School. In the year 2015 I was commissioned a Kentucky Colonel.
